Brandon Roebuck Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 22, 2013.
Brandon E. Roebuck, age 38, died in Wichita, Kansas on May 22, 2013 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident near Medford, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday (May 28, 2013) at Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home in Arkansas City, followed by interment at Parker Cemetery. Following interment a gathering of his friends and family will be held at the American Legion facility in Arkansas City. Brandon was born on July 20, 1974 in Ponca City, OK to Kenneth Roebuck and Pam Oaks Roebuck (Dunster). He attended schools in Arkansas City and Saint John's Military School in Salina, Kansas. Brandon lived in Arkansas City. He was employed as a driller on large oil and gas drilling rigs in west Texas. Brandon loved to ride motorcycles and was a member of the Rogues Motorcycle Club. Some would say he was a walking contradiction who was strong enough to run a drilling rig, but soft enough to love and adore his two young daughters who were the light of his life. Brandon is survived by his father, Kenneth Roebuck and stepmother, Kathleen Roebuck of Arkansas City, his mother, Pam Dunster of Ponca City, OK, his sister Casey Smith and husband Jay of Tulsa, OK, two daughters, Lilly and Lauren, and one stepson, Colton Hesen and two nieces, Addison and Emerson Smith. Other survivors include Lisa Bruner, the mother of Lilly and Lauren. Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mert and Arna Darnell, paternal grandparents, Ed Roebuck and Ersa Roebuck Frost. In lieu of flowers, a memorial education fund for Brandon's daughters has been established at RCB Bank in Arkansas City. Contributions may be made through the funeral home. Arrangements are being made through the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home of Arkansas City. Online condolences may be made at www.rindt-erdman.com
