Condolences to the family concerning the loss of BG but what a blessing he was. You were privileged to have him as father, grandfather and great grandfather. If you were around BG for any length of time you were aware of his love and concern for his family. While he had varied interest and enjoyed many things, his family was his primary focus. Of that you can be assured. Yes he will be sorely missed by all but he is in a much better place of which none of us would begrudge him. The great hope is if we are born again as he was, then there will one day be a grand reunion and what a day that will be. Romans 6:23 states the following: "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord". As a life-long friend of BG and one who had a conservation with him about this very subject in December 2014, I am so very thankful that he has that eternal life for that is what takes the "sting" and sorrow out of physical death. May God bless.

BG,
There is no kinder person than you. I know you are present with God. I so enjoyed the times on your farm in Idaho in the 70s.
