NO TEARS IN HEAVEN
There are no tears in Heaven. Nor grief of any kind;
I'll leave the final teardrop to those I've left behind.
Though absent from the body, I'm present with the Lord,
The joy of my salvation is now my reward.
A Glimpse into the Life of Breck Jerod Williams, Jr.
Breck Jerod Williams, Jr., was born March 11, 2005, to Verline Elizabeth Leger and Breck Jerod Williams, Sr., in Beaumont, Texas.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. He was baptized at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. R.D. Sanders of St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church in Beaumont.
Breck, affectionately known as "BJ", was educated in the Beaumont Independent School District, where he attended Charlton Pollard Elementary and MLK Middle School. At 14, he moved to Fort Worth, Texas, with his parents and siblings, where he attended Chisholm Trail High School and played on both the football and basketball teams.
"BJ" was a child who loved playing sports, spending time with his family and friends, and making music. At his demise, while attending school, "BJ" was pursuing his passion for making music. He has published several songs and music videos. During this time, "BJ" became known as "Drillonfeet" thru his music.
On Wednesday, January 4, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas, at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, God took his child's soul in His infinite wisdom. "BJ" made his heavenly transition from labor to reward.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmothers, Audry Faye Leger and Helen Delores Williams, and paternal great-grandfather, Sam Williams.
"BJ's" love and memories will remain in the hearts of his loving mother, Verline Elizabeth Leger, and father, Breck Jerod Williams Sr.; brother, Kedrain Perkins; sisters, Ja'ayalia Batiste and Bre'Yanna Williams; grandfather, Arthur Leger, Jr. and great-grandmother, Olevia Williams; nephew, Ja'Kedrain Perkins and a new baby nephew (yet to be born), Ja'Ace Lee Jerod Royal. Several uncles, aunts, and cousins will keep his name alive, and we cannot forget the many best friends and friends who have all become family.
