Brenda Jo Sleeth Bates, 70 of Minneola, Florida passed away peacefully at her residence on December 4, 2022. She was born on July 30, 1952 in Beech Grove, Indiana.
Family was very important to her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and cared about helping others in the community. She enjoyed spending time with her family, riding on the Harley, and cooking.
She is preceded in death by her parents Donald and JoHanna (Cox) Sleeth and brother Donald Sleeth Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Michael F. Bates of Minneola, Florida, her son Michael D Bates of Indianapolis, Indiana, and her daughters Amy Bates of Elizabethtown, Kentucky and Amanda Williams of Minneola, Florida. She has 4 grandchildren, Rebecca Bates, Devon Bates, Kaylynn Bates, and Ashton Williams. She has 3 great grandchildren Ava, Ariel, and Jaxton.

We will miss Brenda very much, I remember our teenage years & we had so much fun, her caring heart & her great sense of humor! She’s not suffering anymore & she’s in heaven with family & friends & I know John was probably standing at heaven’s gates waiting on Brenda! RIP Brenda!!
