Brenda Boardwine Brenda Boardwine, 47, passed away Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, at Wellmont Hos pice House in Bristol Tennessee. She was born on Saturday, Jan. 13, 1962, in Kingsport, Tenn., to the late Charles Jr. and Hattie Bentley Arnold. She was a member of Brookside Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, William Boardwine; one daughter, Mary Widner and her husband Wayne of Bristol Virginia; sisters, Linda Melendez and husband Walter of Blountville, and Karren Arnold-Waller of Bluff City; brothers, Charles Edward "Eddie" Arnold and wife Jeannie of Bluff City, Alvin Arnold and wife Margaret of Kingsport, Tommy Arnold and wife Tammy of BristolTennessee, and Darren Arnold and wife Jan of Kingsport; grandchildren, Rosemary Pearson, Jacob Boardwine, Alexis Widner and Charles Widner; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, at Oakley-Cook Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 Wednesday morning, Nov. 25, 2009, in the Paul Cook Memorial Chapel at Oakley-Cook Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Nixon officiating. Pallbearers will be Eddie Arnold, Alvin Arnold, Tommy Arnold, Darren Arnold, Walter Melendez and Joshua Arnold.
