Time always passes so quickly, but we will treasure the moments we spent with Joyce. She will be missed. Bill, Stephanie, and Kimberly stay strong. God is always with you.

What a wonderful obituary today, celebrating a great person. While my career and social circle seldom crossed paths, other than Bill, it's an amazing tribute to someone that really made a difference. Thanks for sharing.

Our sincerest sympathies to Brenda’s family

Brenda would walk into the salon with that smile on. The person she sat next to had no clue that they were about to laugh about something. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She talked about her girls with that same smile. They, along with Bill were the light in her life. She was kind, funny, caring, and so smart. She was my friend. My deepest and sincere condolences for the Rustem family. I will always treasure my time with Brenda. I miss her already.

While I worked closely with Bill for several years, I only knew Brenda through social events usually held in and around Lansing. Upon first meeting her in 2011, I confessed to her that I had no idea what I was doing in government and not really sure what I was supposed to do in my job. She gave me a sly but friendly smile and assured me as long as I listened to Bill, I would be just fine. She was right. May she rest in peace.
