Brenda Gibson Obituary
She was the beloved daughter of the late Sandra Powell and is also preceded in death by her Grandparents, James & Dorothy Fitzgerald & Wilton & Nancy Spencer. Her uncle, Bruce Fitzgerald, half-sisters, Stephanie Fitzgerald and Tracy Spencer. Brenda's memory lives on in those who held her close: her partner Scotty Bachman, her stepfather, Clinton Powell; her brother, James Fitzgerald and his wife Norma; and her sister, Teresa Boone and partner Christopher Herpel.
Brenda's heart lived most fully through her children-her daughter Melissa Dudley and fiancé Kenny Walton, and their children, Drew, Alyssa "Sissa", Brittany, Kaylee, Haleigh & Kenny Jr. "Tank", her son David Dudley, his partner Lauren Wells, and his children Ashlynn & Landon and her son, Charles Gibson, and his son Brayden. 1 great grandson, Easton Michael. In each of them echoes her enduring spirit.
In her final chapter, Brenda was surrounded by compassion. The family offers deep gratitude to Shelia Shull and Natasha Abshire for their devoted care and support during her time of need.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 3, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Rives Park, 926 Rives St., where friends and loved ones will gather to honor Brenda's memory with joy and remembrance.
May Brenda's memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
