Brenda LEVIS Obituary
Sunday, March 2nd, at the age of 49, Brenda left her devoted husband Louis Leduc and loving son Jordan Levis-Leduc (Courtney Merchand) to be reunited with her mother Lizzie Carroll-Levis and father Jackie Levis. Brenda will be truly missed by her brother Bruce Levis (Janet Morris), brother-in-law Rock Leduc (Ginette Lalonde) and her nieces and nephews. She was an amazing niece to her three aunts Alvira Galbraith (Neil Galbraith), Rachel Carroll and Carmel Monette (late Cleetis Monette). Brenda's cousins Neil Galbraith, Ann Galbraith (Nicholas Bundy) and Roxann Monette (Roger Paris) have become more like siblings over the years and will help keep her memory alive. The loss of Brenda will also be felt by her extended family and friends. Funeral arrangements entrusted to McConnery's Funeral Home 206 Cartier Maniwaki,QC J9E 1R3. Funeral services will be celebrated at the St- Patrick's Church of Maniwaki, Saturday March 8, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. Condolences at the church will commence at 10:30 a.m. Donations are welcome to the "Centre d'oncologie de l'hospital de Maniwaki (CSSSVG)" and the St-Patrick Church.

Brenda was one of the real stars in my life when I was a student doing a social work practicum. She was a true mentor and friend to me and I will never forget her kindness and support as she helped me launch my career. I last saw her two years ago when I was expecting my son, and she talked to me about the joys of being a mom, and how much she loved her own son, Jordon, now a teen. She always talked about her family, Louis and Jordon, as the light of her life. I know she loved you both beyond words. My deepest condolences. She was a wonderful person and helped so many others during her time on this earth.

Terribly saddened by Brenda's death. We met London on our way to Cyprus - she was very caring and concerned and interested in others. Brenda you will be missed. For the family I wish you my deepest sympathies.

Dear Bruce, Carmel, Rachel, Roxanne and family please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Brenda. She always took the time to chat with me when I would see her at St. Pat's church. I remember one particular time that she took me out for lunch at the Central Hotel when she was working at Hubert's Store - I will never forget that memory. May the wonderful memories that you have of her keep you strong during this very sad time.

What a beautiful loving woman she was. I always looked forward to celebrating my godchild's birthday because I knew I was going to see her! You will never be forgotten. Our condolences to The family.
