Not sure what to say?

I loved Brenda! My entire family loved Brenda. She made each of us feel special with witty, descriptive compliments. She was thoughtful (full of thought for) friends, family, and strangers everywhere. It was like a happy job for her that she remembered favorite and preferred "everything" about everyone. When she visited our home, my kitchen was spotless, and my garden weeds were gone when she left. When did she do that?

As much as she did for friends, her focus never left her family. We would say she took care of her mother, but she would say she had fun with her mother. She and Mickey provided an open-door home and recharging station for many. She had fun with her brothers and faithful sister Deirdre. Even in sad times, her smile and a quip or two diffused grief, if only for a minute.

I will miss my friend Brenda but will still giggle at the silliness we shared for 46 years.

My dearest Brenda, how I've missed you and wished I'd had a number to contact you. I've missed you and will continue to miss you. I know that the Lord has opened His arms to you as you were a faithful servant.

My deepest condolences to all of the family most especially to her husband, son and family and Deirdre. I loved Brenda so much and often thought of her especially on her birthday. She was a wonderful person, and I considered her more than a patient, but a friend. She touched my life, and I have great memories of her as she acted motherly towards me always. May she rest in peace through the mercy of our Lord.

Brenda's passing was a big shock. Heard about it from Tom McGovern.Brings back so many treasured memories. Although separated by distance the Maher family has always had an important place in our life. Many memorable moments full of love and laughter. Our thoughts go out to Mickey, Deirdre, and Michael. You all are in our prayers.
