Not sure what to say?

Jim,

I can't believe that it's been a year since Brenda's passing. I still think about her all the time, especially when I come across something that she shared with me when we were teaching together. I will be changing job positions next year to teach Science. We had so much fun together going to all of the science workshops. She always made me drive her car because she felt more comfortable that way! I also remember the 3 years that we went to Charleston together and walked across that "shaky bridge". I hope you're doing well and would love to hear from you. Missing all the good times at Hawk Ridge and in Charlotte.

Love,

Michele

My deepest sympathy to the family of Brenda Robinson.

Brenda taught my son Andrew at Hawk Ridge Elementary. She was truly a wonderful teacher. Having three children, I truly appreciated her dedication and love for teaching. I remember her inspiring the 4th graders to enter a writing contest by not only helping them write their essays but by entering her own essay in the contest also. I feel very lucky to have known such a caring teacher. May her memory be eternal.

jim and all bianchi family members: i too was a classmate of brenda's at boyden high - we were cheerleaders together - it is true that her sparkling smile and eyes will be the physical reminder i will always have of her; she had a great laugh too! thank you, jim, for sharing her with us at our last reunion - a witness to her courage to come with the inability to speak - my prayer is that you all will be clothed in Christ's peace.

Dear Jim,

I'm so thankful that you brought Brenda to our reunion and that I had quality time with her and time to get to know you. You and I have talked about how cruel ALS is but now we can celebrate this wonderful life and know that Brenda is at peace. Please know how disappointed Sissy Jarrell and I were that the icey weather caused us to cancel our travel plans but I was with you in my heart.

Dear Jim and family,

I do hope that the wonderful memories give comfort to you during this very painful time. It was indeed a priviledge to know and have Brenda as a friend. I shall always think of her beautiful smile and sparkling eyes that made our world a brighter place. May God's Blessings be yours, Sissy Jarrell

My deepest sympathies to all of Brenda's Family members and friends. I graduated from our beloved Boyden High School with Brenda in 1968, and although I did not know her as a best friend, I will never forget her wonderful smile and kindness to all.

Jim, the Robinson and Bianchi families,

I would like to extend our deepest sympathies to all of you. I was privileged to have had Brenda for my best friend from 4th to 7th grade at Fort Belvoir, VA. I have never forgotten her beautiful smile and sense of humor. Brenda and I both became teachers. I think of her all the time, especially when we talk about friendships. She will truly be missed. Please know that she lives on in the memories of so many friends and family members.

Sincerely, Betsy Triplett

Jim,

I read with great empathy the news of Brenda's death. I know that you did everything possible to support her continued quality of life, and to provide a comforting, loving, and safe environment for her. Please know that, even though each person's grief is personal and unique, I (and other caregivers you've met at the Clinic) "get it" as far as where you're at. You are truly not alone.

With kindest regards, from your fellow attendee at the first caregiver workshop in 2003.

Our deepest sympathy. I will always remember Brenda's happy smile at my parents' house when she visited to play with Janet. Of all the young visitors, she was Mother's favorite.
