Brenda was a long time and very active member of the Anchorage Republican Women's Club. She was always a role model for younger women in politics like myself. We loved her candor and honesty. You will be missed, Brenda and remembered always.

She always had a smile for everyone and the desire to serve and help in anyway she could. Anchorage was so fortunate to have her as our First Lady, she filled those shoes with grace and commitment to support her husband in his role. She will be dearly missed by myself and many others.

Brenda has been a part of my life since birth. She and George were very close with my parents, so I always saw them as surrogate aunt and uncle. She watched me grow up, and never stopped encouraging me to be my best self. She will be sorely missed.
