A Brother's Lessons
Brendon, is my big brother. From day one he let me know who was in charge. In my younger years he showed his love for me by placing me in boxes while hitting it with a plastic bat and thru that I learned to face my fears. Or teaching me the importance of exercise by encouraging the neighbor's golden retriever to chase me. He also taught me how to be Tarzan and swing from the top of the monkey bars on our swing set while holding a large rope, only to have me run smack into a large post. All his life lessons made me tough. All my life my brother has taught me lessons. On Saturday Morning he taught me his last lesson and that's to live, love, and cherish everyday, and to always let your loved ones know how much you love them. This life is precious and nothing is promised.
My brother was only 32 years old, he was a big teddy bear. Sweet, kind, loving, giving, humble, funny and had the most infectious laugh and smile. I can't understand why God had to take him so soon. He had so many plans, and was busy raising his two beautiful children. Brooklyn 6 and Brendon Jr 19 months old. He was an amazing father! He would flood his kids with kisses to the point the children would be annoyed. He loved movies, and enjoyed going to see the newest cartoons with Brooklyn. He was a kid at heart, and sometimes you would think he and his daughter Brooklyn were the same age when they interacted.
He was my parents boy! Whenever Brendon would visit the house he would go straight to wherever my father or mother was to greet them and kiss them on the cheek. He also called my parents ever morning at 6:30AM so they could chat while he drove to work. And he never said good bye without telling us he loved us.
He was an amazing chef and completed culinary school! He loved to eat, something he inherited from my parents. He enjoyed dining out and sharing his experience at various eateries on Yelp, where he at one point was the #1 blogger for an entire hour.
He truly loved life! He learned the art of true partying while attending Florida State University where he received his degrees in Political Science and Business.
Brendon was so good, so sweet, complimentary, respectful and always considered others beside himself. He would call me to check on me, and would always be a phone call away to listen to my worries. He was protective, loving, and the epitome of a great brother.
He was also funny and comical and on one of our families European cruises he hid all of our Uncle Red's underwear. He went commando all over Europe before it was popular thanks to Brendon, even before Brittany Spears.
It is hard for me to understand why someone like Brendon with all the qualities I just described would be taken from us so soon at 32 years old with two beautiful children. I had discovered thru my bible readings that
"When God is ready for you, there isn't enough illness or injury to keep you out of heaven. And if he's not ready for you, there's not enough illness or injury to get you there."
My parents and I find comfort in knowing God is in control and that we will eventually be reunited with Brendon. Our time on earth is minute compared to eternity, where we will all be together forever.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Brandon at a dinner gathering in Las Vegas,
along with his Beautiful Family.
What can one possibly say to make sense on Brandon early departure from this world? Brandon was a gorgeous young man, with a smile that touched ones heart, he had a bright future ahead of him ,
At times like this we question Gods plans, at least I do.
However one must find peace knowing Brandon is at peace with God,
his spirit lives on forever in the hearts who knew him.
May God grant the Family peace and comfort for loosing a child is the worst tragedy ,heartbreak one can endure.

I know this may seem odd, but first let me write my condolences.I don't know Brendon but I was mourning my father and saw a beautiful spot that said Brendon Paul Bachelor. As I walked by something just told me to stop near his grave site and say a prayer. I am a 32 year old that has lost both parents . I can only imagine your grief and Im very sorry. I looked up Brendon`s name online and saw this beautiful site. I just have to write something as It just felt the right thing to do. Thank you and God bless.

It is with the highest respect that I send my condolences to Brandons entire family. My time with him was short but he left a very lasting impression. He was always smiling and had such a great outlook on life. His jencare/ Chenmed family was heartbroken and still a year later we all look back and miss his smiling face.
