Brent Michael Baudy Sr.

Brent Michael Baudy, Sr., a New Orleans native and resident of Jefferson, LA entered into a peaceful and eternal rest on Friday, February 12, 2021 at the age of 76. Brent was the son of the late John J. Baudy, Jr. and Alice Pujol Baudy; the son-in-law of the late Henry P. Sissac, Sr. and Marian Haller Sissac. Brent leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 54 years, Linda Sissac Baudy; his four adoring daughters: Sherry (Lloyd) Baudy-Mansion, Sheila Ann Baudy, Tina (Heath) Baudy Butler, Kristie Marie Baudy and his only son, Brent M. Baudy, Jr.; his ten admired grandchildren: Zachary Mansion, Madison Baudy, Brooke Butler, Savannah Mansion, Summer Butler, Mason Wallace, Heath Butler, II, Jackson Wallace, Brent Baudy, III and Brandon Baudy. Brent is also survived by his brothers: Ronald (Mildred) Baudy, Sr. and Jerome (Lynette) Baudy, Sr.; sisters-in-law, Sheila (Rodney) Sissac Greenup, Loraine Baudy, Monica Sissac and Ann Sissac; three adoring goddaughters: Heather August Davis, Ronda Baudy Moore, Chantel Baudy Franklin and loved ones: Bruce Wallace, Antra Ezeb, Mae King and the late Dwight Bluford, Jr. He also leaves to mourn his memory numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. He was preceded in death by four brothers: Darell, Wendell, John and Wayne Baudy; a host of sisters and brothers-in-law: Walter and Brenda Glapion, Jr., Malcolm and Kay Bonseigneur and Allison Randolph, III. Acknowledgements of appreciation and eternal gratitude to the dedicated staff at the Veterans Hospital of New Orleans. Due to city and government regulations, only a limited number of relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Epiphany Catholic Church, 2022 St. Bernard Avenue New Orleans, LA 70116. Visitation 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A private interment will follow at a later date. Due to COVID-19 all those in attendance are required to wear a face mask and to practice social distancing.
