Brent Dixon Boutwell, age 47, of Jackson, Georgia passed away on Thursday October 4, 2018 in Athens, GA. He was born on March 30, 1971 to Cassandra and the late Maurice Boutwell, Jr. Brent was also preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mildred Abercrombie Boutwell; paternal grandfather, Maurice Dixon Boutwell, Sr. (Doc) and maternal grandfather, Roy Lee Deese, Jr.

Brent graduated from Morrow Senior High. He married Heidi Stuebs on February 14, 1998 in Gatlinburg, TN. Brent and his wife owned the Correctional Resource Group, successfully managing the business since 2005. Brent was a pillar of his community, donating timelessly to his church, charity work, and serving others. Brent lived for Jesus, always being the example of "it's not about me- it's all about Him."

Brent is survived by his loving wife, Heidi Stuebs Boutwell; children: Caroline Grace Boutwell and Caleb Dixon Boutwell; mother, Cassandra Deese Boutwell ; mother- in-law, Diana Moseley; maternal grandmother, Corinne Griswell Deese; sister, Kristi Boutwell Sweatt; brother- in-law, Todd Sweatt; Nieces; Lynsey and Camdyn Sweatt; nephew, Dawson Sweatt; aunts, Sheila Lynn Hartley and Pat Boutwell; uncle, Richard Boutwell; cousins: Kurt Reinhardt and Family, Genalynn Hovers and Family, Heath Boutwell and Family, Dalton Boutwell; extended family; and many loving friends.

Visitations for Brent will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am in the main sanctuary at Sharon Baptist Church, 571 N. Ola Road, McDonough, GA. The Celebration of Life service will follow at 11:00 am on Saturday with Dr. Gary Lewis and Dr. Benny Tate officiating.

When God called Brent home, the world lost a great man. He impacted so many lives in a positive way, and he was a wonderful example of what a Christian should be.
