He was an amazing young man who was passionate, caring, smart, kind, curious and always engaged....he was one of those young people who gave me hope about our future as human beings.... I still cannot believe. I only got to know him for one semester, and he touched my life. I cannot imagine peoples sadness who knew him longer....I cannot imagine his parents loss and sadness. I think not only you but the world truly lost a great son...he was definitely destined to do great things for the world. Rest In Peace Brett... I am so very sorry you are not going to be coming to my office or will not be writing me an email to share your most recent ideas, or an interesting article. Rest In Peace. I still cannot believe.

He was a machine in the library. He was a machine in the gym. He knew how to have fun. For the four years that I knew him, I never heard him say anything negative. Everything he said was positive and his optimism rubbed off on everyone that he spent time with. It was obvious that Brett was on your team, even if you didnt know him. He was never selfish and he cared about you, no matter who you were. Brett, Im going to miss you a lot brotha. Something tells me youre smiling up there. I cant wait to see you again one day, thanks for leading by example, and we all love you.
