Brett was a true best friend to my husband for many many years and like a second dad to my kids! We love him so much! He has taught my boys so many good things in so many ways! You lived a life that touched many people in a very positive way and you will be remembered as such. You have also left behind incredible memories that have the power to inspire others to accomplish whatever it may be they set out to do. You had the ability to bring out the best in people and make them achieve more than I think even they knew was possible and best of all you enjoyed their success with them. You are an incredible individual and though words can't express my loss, it is not about me - I will try to pass on the values I saw in you to others and share what you were able to bring to so many. Though you will be missed - you will never be forgotten.

Bret, thank you for being a coach to Christian. You showed him that hard work pays off and that it bonds a team. Your passing is way too soon and my heart aches for your children and family.

I only found out yesterday that my brother in law Aaron played with you at Connor.

About every three weeks for the last year or so I saw Brett in his shop. I will miss him a lot and I am thankful we became friends. May God be merciful to us all who grieve.

I am at a loss for words to find out that my friend Brett has passed away. Brett was a wonderful man, a great friend, and a teacher and leader in everything he did. Such a tragic loss. My love and thoughts go out to his family.
