Carmen and Jeff,
I have had you in my thoughts and prayers over the last many months and was saddened to hear of Brett's passing.
I attended his memorial service at St Mary's and was gratified to see the wonderful support shown for you and the family by all your friends and neighbors and was happy to be among them. I did not know Brett very well but know that the world is a better place for him being here as long as he was able. Love to you and the family,

Our deepest condolences to the entire Smith family. Brett indeed taught us all some very valuable lessons about life and how to live each day to its fullest. The fact that our prayers were not answered, hurts at times, but knowing that God's will prevailed, gives us further reason to celebrate Brett's life here on earth.
