With heavy hearts, we share the passing of a remarkable man whose life was a testament to love and family values. Brett Weida, beloved husband, cherished father, and adoring son, passed away unexpectedly on May 17th, 2024, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Throughout his life, he touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He is survived by his three children, wife, mother, two brothers and four grandchildren. He was married to his wife, Wendy Weida, on August 1st, 1992. His legacy is woven into the fabric of countless hearts, leaving an indelible mark on those he encountered.

As a father, Brett was a beacon of wisdom, patience, and unconditional love. His guidance was infused with warmth and understanding, his presence a source of comfort and strength. He led by example, instilling values of integrity, empathy, and perseverance in his children, who will forever carry his legacy forward.

Beyond his role as a father, Brett was a man of immense humor and passion. He was always the life of the party, with his triple-word scores in Scrabble, culinary abilities that could rival any top-chefs, and his impeccable taste in music. Brett lived his life to the fullest. He taught us that every word, dish, and song should be crafted with love and played with joy. He had the ability to make every person in his presence feel special. He knew no stranger and put a smile on everyone's face.

Brett found solace and joy in the embrace of family. He cherished moments of togetherness, treasuring each shared laugh and every heartfelt conversation. His presence illuminated the lives of all who surrounded him, his love an eternal flame that continues to burn brightly in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Though Brett may have departed from this earthly realm, his spirit remains ever-present, a guiding light that illuminates our paths and inspires us to live with purpose and compassion. His memory will be forever cherished and his legacy forever celebrated.

A private celebration of Brett's life will be held in Arizona, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and share cherished stories of a life well-lived.

As we mourn the loss of Brett, let us also rejoice in the profound privilege of loving and having been loved by such an extraordinary man.
