Dear Campion family, I didn't know Brian but just spent a weekend in Albany and my son, Dan Di Maggio, told me of his passing. Dan and his girlfriend, Dee Trombley, knew Brian from Indian Ladder Farm and loved him for his great personality, his humor, his goodness with the people around him. His sister, Penny Casey, was a neighbor of ours in the Fleetwood Ave area. The Di Maggio family is saddened by the loss of your sibling, Brian.

On behalf of Academy of the Holy Names, please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the loss of Brian. May all your special memories be a comfort during this time of sorrow and loss. Brian shall remain in our thoughts and prayers.

Brian was one of the nicest people at the Tax Department. Always had a smile. A real people person. You will be missed.

So sorry to hear that Brian has passed away. Our friendship goes back many years weather we were deer hunting or just living next door on Manning Blvd. His passing brought back so many memories. To many to list here.
