Brian Case Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 9, 2021.
Brian Stanton Case passed away on April 2, 2021, surrounded by his family after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. He survives in the hearts of his wife of 32 years, Christine, and their four children, Katie Gregorka (Andrew), Kyle, Kevin, and Kenton. Brian is also survived by brothers Scott (Pamela) and Doug (Sonja); numerous nieces, nephews, and their children; and by cousins Kim Johnson and Stacey Bosch. Born October 26, 1958, to Stewart and JoAn Case, Brian attended Rancho Alamitos High School in Garden Grove, where his passions included playing football and spending time with friends. Following his graduation he attended Santa Ana College and UCLA, receiving his undergraduate degrees. His educational pursuits took him to Pepperdine University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree. Brian practiced law in California where he was a member of various Bar Associations and professional organizations for over 37 years. He was well regarded in his field, earning the respect of his coworkers and peers. Brian was also involved in his local community. He volunteered for many years at the Boys and Girls Club of Stanton, where he served on the board of directors and was a past President. Youth sports was also a passion of Brian's. He coached and served on the Boards of many local youth sports organizations including Little League Baseball, Pop Warner Football, and Club Soccer programs. He was an inspiration to many young lives. Most important to Brian was his family. He loved planning family outings which ranged from local camping trips to traveling the world. He was proud of his wife and his children and was eagerly awaiting the birth of his first grandchild. Brian will be remembered for his sense of adventure, love of the outdoors, and outstanding work ethic. Brian touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew him. The family requests that any remembrances of his name be sent to the City of Hope, to support their continued research and treatment practices.
