Brian J. Cousino, Sr.

Brian J. Cousino, Sr., 60, of Toledo, OH, passed away Monday, October 2, 2017, at Ebeid Hospice Residence. Born December 5, 1956, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Adolph "Jr." and Shirley (Jacobs) Cousino. A 1975 graduate of Whitmer High School, he married Marie J. Garmon on August 21, 1982. He was employed as a mechanic for Perfect Sweep in Toledo for the past 11 years. Prior, he worked for the former Cousino Body Shop in Toledo. Brian enjoyed boating and was a member of the I-LYA and Harbor View Yacht Club, where he was Commodore in 1995.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marie; children, Joshua (Heather) Cousino, Nichole Shaefer, Jennifer Ripple, Brian Cousino, Jr. and Travis Cousino; mother, Shirley Cousino; brothers, Bradley (Patty) Cousino, Bruce Cousino and Barry (Wendy) Cousino; sisters, Bonnie (Don) Fels, Becky (Mike) Goldsmith, and Beth (Chris) Slomkowski; special friends, Bob Stark and Billy Pastorek; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father; and sister, Sheila Kay.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m., Friday, October 6, 2017, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman), Temperance, MI, where the H.V.Y.C/Blue Gavel service will be at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Erie, MI.
