Mike, Tracy, Danny, Kevin, Jo and Bud and all that share in their pain,
I just heard about your huge loss through Elliott when he heard from one of the other "baseball" guys. I wish I could come over and give you all BIG HUGS!!! My heart is breaking for you all. I never got to meet Brian. I don't think he made it to any games because he was busy with all of his sports. From reading the guest book I can see that he touched many lives while he was here. What a smart and kind young man to have signed up to be a organ donor also. Such a gift he has given to so many others. There aren't any words that I can say to help ease some of your pain. We all are saying prayers for you all. Hold on tight to ALL your wonderful memories you have of Brian. Again my heart is feeling your pain and you will be in our thoughts for many days to come. God be with you all. May you get strength from his love and everyone around you!!

Brian complete my Intro to Human Communication course at Chandler-Gilbert CC in spring. He was quiet in class and I made it a personal goal to get him to talk. I teased him about sharing the name of an excellent character actor, Brian Cox, and this always made him smile. That smile will be missed. My thoughts are with you in the loss of a fine, polite young man.

Brian was a student in my Brief Calculus class in fall 2007. He was a quiet and very polite young man with a pleasant sense of humor. I very much enjoyed having him in class. This loss is too early and too tragic.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I knew Brian as his coach at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. When he chose to pursue his academics and give up baseball I urged him to take his time and he did. He handled it with the utmost class and dignity. He was a fine young man. I am sure he will be missed a great deal. May the lord bless and keep your family at all times.

Mike, Tracey, Kevin, Danny and Extended Family
It was with great sorrow that I heard of the loss of Brian. I have been trying to find the right words to express the feelings I have right now to your family but have come up empty. I decided to look up some recruiting notes I had on Brian as I watched him play ball back in 2007. Some of those notes, along with typical very good basketball skills, included words like, "Hard Worker", "Big Heart", "Leader",
"Just a Great Kid". I think that sums up what Brian was all about. I had to work last Saturday and couldn't attend Brian's service, but as I drove by the church and saw the parking lot filled to capacity it was evident that so many people feel the same way I do. My wifes and my prayers and thoughts go out to your entire family in this very difficult time. God Bless you all.

Mike, Tracey, Kevin & Danny,
I never had Brian directly as a student, but I had many of his friends and got to meet him this way as a teacher at WF West. Brian was always very respectful to adults and caring towards his peers & family. Brian was one of those "exceptionally rare kids" that was an incredible positive role model for younger kids (polite, smart, athletic, responsible)! My son Charlie would always think it was pretty cool to watch Alex's big cousin playing ball for the Bearcats, and even better when Brian would stop by and support the younger ones in their own sports battles. I am so sorry for your family's loss, as well as our communities!

Mike, Tracey, Kevin, Danny & Heather, extended family and close friends,
I have had the great opportunity to get to know you all better over the past few years. While my encounters with Brian were limited, I feel great pain for your loss. Brian’s polite, quite and shy demeanor is exemplified by his brothers and father who survive him. His kind heart and smile remind me of his mother. My younger brother graduated from WF West with Brian in 2007. He tells me that Brian was well liked, popular, multi-talented but remained humble and kind while respecting others. Words cannot express the tough times your family is currently enduring. Mine and many other families are thinking of you and are here to provide support. God bless,
Shane Rhea
