Brian Dill Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 1, 2024.
We respectfully announce the passing of Mr. Brian Steven Dill, who at the age of 54 years, entered into eternal rest on the 27th of April, 2024, in Memphis, Tennessee. Brian was a devoted husband, a loving father, a doting grandfather, and a steadfast friend whose memory will be held in the highest regard.

Brian's unwavering dedication to his community was evident through his 26 years of commendable service with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, where he was an esteemed K-9 handler. Upon his retirement in September 2020, he continued to serve the public as a Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Bartlett. His pastimes included the joys of family life, the excitement of football, woodworking, fishing and hunting.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Jennifer Dill; daughters, Abbie Jackson (married to Justin) and Alex Inglish (married to Austin); stepchildren, Madisyn, Hunter, and Hayden Porter; his treasured grandson, Jenson Jackson; his mother, Linda Martin; his father, Ralph Dill; his brother, Kirk Dill (married to Molly); and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, and friends. Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earnest and Marie Cartwright; his stepfather, Roy Martin; and his nephew, Stephen Taft Dill.

The family invites all who were graced by Brian's presence in their lives to attend his memorial service, which will be held at Legacy Church, 7054 St. Elmo Rd, Bartlett, TN 38135, on the 4th of May, 2024. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM, with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM and concluding at 1:00 PM.

His spirit of generosity and dedication to his community will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May we honor his life by living with the same integrity and kindness that he exemplified.
