I just found out that Brian had passed away last week. He was a fun and caring person. He took me to my first Vikings game, and we had a blast. I will miss him dearly. I hope you are at peace now Brian, and you will be missed by everyone who knew you. Rest in peace.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I worked with Brian at Otto Bock, we were shocked and very saddened to hear he is gone. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I really enjoyed all the heated discussions I had with Brian of politics and his wealth of football knowledge was incredible. On more than one occasion told him he needs to be a football announcer or analyst - he had a true gift of knowledge and recollection with that sport! It is just very sad he is gone, but I am so grateful he was here when he was, it was a true blessing to have known him.

I pray for peace and strength for his family and peace for Brian.

It is with a heavy heart that I offer my sincere condolences to the Habedank family.

I do not know what it is like to be a parent and give all the love, nurturing and care to raising a child. I can only imagine now what deep heartbreak you must be going through after loosing that child.

Please know that my heart aches for you and if there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.

As the Quakers say, "I am holding your family in the light".

To the family of Brian Habedank:
What a beautiful, talented, accomplished young man your son was! Thank you for letting us know him with your words. I recently moved into his neighborhood in Brooklyn Park. Unfortunately I did not get to know him and that makes me sad. Your family will continue to be in my prayers. I can not imagine the pain of your loss. Brian was so close in age to my own children that the loss hits close to home. I am glad he was a hard-working, educated, productive member of our society. Even though he passed young, he had accomplished what takes most people a lifetime to achieve. He added much to our lives in ways we often don't even recognize. Thank you for sharing your boy with us. May God strengthen you and give you Peace at this time. May you live in comfort knowing what a delight your son was while he was here with us.

Hello, I first met Brian at Target Corporation when he was servicing the printer by my office. We got to chit chatting and realized we belonged to the same health club. After that we became friends. It was always so nice he took the time to stop and talk I know he was very serious about his weight lifting. I also ran into him at the gym pool during the Summers. We would spend a couple hours together. He was so interesting to talk to about books, movies. We shared a lot about career and office politics. One memory I have that makes me smile. Is one day out of the blue he decided to join me in a yoga class. It was so cute. Here was this body builder guy with all these delicate girl doing all these poses. The instructor just loved him!! He did really well! I also subbed a couple times on his bowling league last year. I was kind of suprised what a crappy bowler he was since he seemed so athletic. Sorry, but I mean barely breaking 100. But I did witness him to bowl a 189. It was awesome! I think he was pretty proud. I really liked being casual gym friends with him and he really brightened my life a lot. I thought about him today when the Vikes finally won. This one's for you!! I wanted to offer my best to all of you and let you know how much I enjoyed knowing him.
