I was a teen author at age 15 for Thomas Nelson and Brian was my editor. I remember he was always kind and understanding about how much pressure it was for a teen and student to write a book. Over the years, after my book was published, he always had a listening ear when I would call and say hello and give an update on what I was doing. He was a humble man and I will truly miss him. A great editor, a great man.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your family and his closest friends. I worked with Brian for seven years while at Thomas Nelson publishers. Although I havent seen him in eight years I still considered him a dear friend. And my heart is broken for your loss.
