My heartfelt condolences to Lisa, Gretchen and Lizzy. It's so difficult to express sympathy in such a way to find the balance between profound grief and the joy of knowing Brian. My history goes back so many years and includes so many good times. Whether at a Twins game, a Vikings game, holiday celebrations, different get togethers I always enjoyed his company and friendship. We had common interests and he always brightened my day with his humor and good food. It's difficult to understand how or why he developed his illnesses. A very good man is in a better place but it leaves us with feelings of sorrow and loss. Let's hope that time lessens the grief and thoughts of Brian will turn to memories that bring a smile to our faces and peace in our hearts and souls.

Although I hadn´t seen him in years, I remember Brian´s gentleness and kindness when we were children and his comforting presence when he flew to WA to be with our family when we lost my mom. Praying for peace and comfort for the Howe, Hughes, and Larson families.
