I knew Brian by his middle name Kelly. Kelly was always a pleasure to be around and he and his dad always seemed to be great guys and you could see the dads teachings and upbringing in his son. Christi, I know the Lord will bless you to get thru this and I believe that when one door closes there will be another door opened and sometimes we need only to look for the opened door and many blessings will be awaiting us thru that door.
I am very sorry for your lose of a husband and father. Lenza and my prayers will be with you and the kids.

My God Bless You and the kids,

To the Jones and Carter Family
Please accept my deepest sympathies.
Kelly was such a wonderful person, My Brother has the same cancer that Kelly did ,and even though Kelly was going through this ,He called and talked with me about the treatments. My Late husband Lamar worked with Kelly for many years at UPS and always thought so much of him. I know what your going through and how hard it will be .The great love you had will always be with you. Its the wonderful memories that hurt so much.I'm so sorry I missed the service but I didn't know until Tuesday afternoon. My heartfelt prayers go out to all of you.

To all the 'Jones Families'
Especially 'Danny & Patsy'
Although I did not come to know any of your family very well, I came to know you Danny, and met Patsy during the illness and death of my son 'Larry', and know that having read the many many accloades of your son 'Kelly' that he inhereited his many gifts of " Love, Compassion, friendship, caring, ministering to others, as well as ones not mentioned here that he did throughout his brief life on Earth from you his parents, he can rest from all pain and discomfort and rejoice in the voice of God & Jesus in a "Job well done".. I did not know of his illness or death until yesterday Dec. 3oth, and am so sorry I did not get to visit you as well as him during his illness and death. Please accept my condolences.
I know what it is to lose both a companion as well as a son and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers in the 'sorrowful days ahead'.. Please take heart in the scripture i'm leaving here, and if there is anything that I can do for you in order to make your life's load easier, then please let me know.

"Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in me; For in my Fathers house are many Mansions, If it were not true, I would have told you; For I go to prepare A place for you, and will come again to receive you unto myself, that where I am, there you may be also." John 14: 1-3

I have not known Kelly for long but everytime I remember him I remember his smiling face. I am so deeply sorry for your loss, but he is at a better place. He is no longer suffering, in fact he has a perfect body. That is the way we should remember him and the loss will not be so great.

God be with you, the kids and family.

Christi, Carter, Caleb and Calli Ann,

Please know that you all have been a very special family to me. Kelly was a wonderful husband and daddy, as well as a good friend. I believe he was because he truly loved Jesus. The telephone at work had a "special ring" when Kelly was calling to "check in with my wife". He had such a sweet spirit and a unique sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew him. Cherish your memories and know he is with his Savior and is truly whole. You're in our thoughts and prayers.

Christi, I am so sorry for the passing of Kelly.I know I don't have to tell you how special Kelly was. Even before his cancer he was exceptional! His Christian witness and calming influence at UPS in the toughest of times will never be forgotten by me.If this is wrong to say then I pray God will forgive me- but I'm reminded of a line from the movie of "Steel Magnolias" when the character played by Sally Field is standing by her daughters coffin. One of friends told her that her daugher was in Heaven and she replied angrily " I know , but I'd rather she be here with me". I'd rather Kelly still be here too with his family.May God send his angels to comfort all of you, because I know that is what Kelly would want. With heartfelt condolences-Carol Luwisch
