Dear Mavis,
It was with great sadness that I learned of Brian's passing. You both are such a big part of the memories I have of the setting up of the Barrhaven Child Care Centre. Brian, as with everything he undertook, gave his time so willingly and certainly helped keep us on track. His wonderful sense of humour was also greatly appreciated.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Mavis, Stephanie & David;
We have so many great memories of sharing time with Brian - as parents of young children (now university students), as couples socializing, as Saturday morning soccer teammates, as OC Transpo seatmates, as workmates at 101, as members of Barrhaven United Church. Along with sharing the 4th of November as our birthdays, Brian and I (Pepper) enjoyed the same style of humour - he was so often successful in his practical jokes!
He was a gentleman and a gentle man. We will miss him dearly.

Mavis, Stephanie, David - Brian will be missed by all those who knew him. During our brief time together in IMGP, he was the one person who many of us could go to to get the financial answers we needed. Brian had the pulse of the IMGP for financial matters, and he had few equals in this regard. He will be in our prayers.

It is with sadness that I hear of Brian's death. I was fortunate to have known him at HDHQ as his Director General and very much enjoyed the chats that we had. Brian was a wonderful person who had happiness and help for all. He gave of himself and made the world a better place for all who knew him.
My sincere condolences to Brian's family as your loss is great as is our memory of a wonderful person.
