In memory of

Brian was my second dad growing up. It seemed like every time I was over at the McNulty house, Brian was a jack of all trades working on a new project in the house, in the yard, on the roof, or in the chicken coop. He continually encouraged Elizabeth and me (and Grant, Kyler, or whatever other kids from the neighborhood were around) to go explore in the woods or see what new things we could find in nature or just go play outside since it´s a beautiful day. His love for the outdoors (and for an adventure) was apparent. As I got older and moved out of the neighborhood, my heart always filled with joy whenever I got to see Brian and Nancy at a Woodland Acres event or at Natalie´s birthday parties. Brian was such an incredible dad to my best friend, such an incredible grandfather to Natalie, and always welcoming to anyone and everyone. His constant smile, charm, wit, friendly nature, and goofy personality will never be forgotten and I sure was lucky to have him as my second dad.

Our first and best memory was when I first met Nancy and Brian. Liz and Carissa were friends and us moms were meeting with the girls for an event. When Nancy and I met we were wearing similar tops and we had so much in common. We decided we were sisters separated at birth. We then went to meet up with the guys, In doing so Allen knew Brian as a supplier when he worked at a former employer. Small world. We all enjoyed many laughs that first night noting two sisters were reunited and the guys were as well reunited again! So many memory were made after that first visit so long ago!

Brian was my best friend. I´ve known him for over fifty years. He made me a part of his family and I made him a part of mine. He was a kind thoughtful person, crazy at times and always fun. Too many memories to mention. One that stands out the most is being my oldest daughter´s Godmother.
I will miss him.

We met Brian through Nancy of course, when we moved into Woodland Acres. He brought us a black walnut tree and helped us pick a place to plant it. It´s a happy tree still nearly 30 years later.
We´re so sad for his passing and the deep loss for Nancy and all the family. May he rest in peace and rise in glory. Mike and Martha Krikava

I grew up with Brian on Burke St. He was part of our wonderful gang of kids. Always had that same smile on his face and fun guy to be around. Glad I was able to see him at eighth grade reunion. Rest in peace Brian!

We were very saddened to hear this news of Brian's passing. We had a long conversation with him at the bar at Jean's luncheon. We saw a lot of him at St. Rose when he would bring Betty to Mass. It was always a joy to talk to him. May perpetual light shine upon him.
