Father Brian was what God most wanted in His priests and His Church - someone who loved and cared for all he met - and those he might meet. He brought me back to the Church and absolutely rejuvenated Our Lady of Fatima parish. To see all the people at his funeral yesterday was only a small token of our love for him. My only regret was the funeral was not held on a weekend - so the children could attend. They loved him as much as we do

Father Moon was like a brother to everyone who knew him. He had a big heart. He was known as the peacemaker. He helped many people. He well be missed.

Father Brian was a very dear and close friend to our family for the last forty years and as such we have all been enriched by the pleasure of his company,as well as the ministry of his high calling,to which he was sincerely committed.We now mourn his passing with all of his remaining family members and all others who were both touched by his kindness and in turn loved him for just being himself.And we shall miss him most of all for that gift.

I will forever treasure the many memories I have of your visits to us in Fairport, NY when our children were so young and called you "uncle Moon". I hope you ran into Frank, Father Brian !!! To all of Brian's family, my deepest sympathy.
I had several memorable meetings with Brian over the years. My last visit with him was when he attended my mothers' funeral in 2000 in Biggar SK.
My brother Walter Bulani shared the sad news with me this evening.
It seems the deepest feelings are the hardest to convey, but hopefully you'll understand what words can never say...So many thoughts are there with you in sympathy today.

I remember Brian from my summers as a counselor at Camp Kinkora. As John Lynch writes, we all recognized Brian's kind and gentle manner as well as his commitment to the priesthood. His was a life well lived.

To Father Brian Moon's family, friends and parishioners, my most sincere condolences. Brian's vocation to the priesthood goes back at least as far as when we were student colleagues at Cardinal Newman High School. His faith, goodness and charity were already apparent at that period. His memory will always remain an inspiration.

My sincerest condolences on your loss, may God comfort and guide your family during this time.

Brian was much beloved classmate in those halcyon days at Camp Kinkora, le Seminaire de Philosophie and at "the Grand". His holiness as a priest was never in doubt. His determination was remarkable. All of this cloaked in a kind and gentle manner. His sense of humour was never barbed. He laboured long in the vineyard accepting each assignment with humility and dedication. I hope that his family will be comforted by the esteem in which Brian is held.

Father Moon was a kind and gentle human being who will be sorely missed. It was truly a pleasure knowing him.

I am so sorry to read of Father Moon's passing. I have many happy memories of a summer spent with him working at Camp Kinkora in 1966 just before his ordination. He was a kind and considerate colleague and will be very much missed.

Sorry for yet another loss to your family
