CLIFTON SPRINGS - Brian Romeiser, 63, entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 12, 2018.
Family and friends are invited to his celebration of life service on Monday, April 16, at 1 p.m. at Zion Fellowship, 5188 Bristol Road, Canandaigua. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in South Farmington Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Brian's memory may be made to American Diabetes Association, 160 Allens Creek Road, Rochester, NY 14618; American Heart Association, 25 Circle St., Rochester, NY 14607; or Zion Fellowship Mission Fund, 5188 Bristol Road, Canandaigua, NY 14424.
Brian was invested in both the local and global community. He was a woodworker, coach and active church member. He helped orchestrate soup parties for several churches as well as for his family, neighbors and friends. He also traveled around the world, doing construction projects for communities in need with his church and with Faith Builders. In the spring and summer, you could find him working in the fields for softball tournaments at Midlakes High School.
Brian had many hobbies. He loved ice boating, working his retirement job at MRB, spending time in his wood shop and traveling the world with his wife Jan.
Most of all, Brian was always ready to drop what he was doing to help someone in need. Whether it was building an addition to someone's home or fixing his daughters' cars, no job was too big or small.
He was a teacher and friend and his legacy lives on in the hearts of all those he's helped. He will be greatly missed.
Brian will be remembered by his wife, Jan; daughters, Kate (Timere) and Jamie (Adam); sister, Lynne Romeiser; brother, Donald (Darlene) Romeiser; nephews and nieces, Sean, Suzie, Alta and Kurt; grandnieces and grandnephews; and aunt, Dorothy Schrader.
