Brian Kent Shroyer, 56, of Huron, died Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a short illness. He was born January 1, 1959 in Elyria and had been a Huron resident for the past 6 years moving from Vermilion. Brian worked as a Truck Driver for R&J Trucking. He enjoyed boating and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Victoria (nee Grove) Shroyer; daughter, Sarah (Daniel Boyd) Shroyer of Cincinnati; sister, Dorothy "Dot" Maners of Berlin Heights; brothers, Ray Shroyer of Waxhaw, NC and Dennis Shroyer of Iowa; and many nephews and nieces including Ammi Buga of Vermilion. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy E. and Merrelda (nee Urban) Shroyer and a brother, Roy Shroyer. The family will receive friends on Friday, Dec. 18, 2015 from 3:00 pm until the time of a memorial service at 6:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH. The Reverend Jim Cooper will officiate. Online condolences may be made at www.riddlefuneralhome.com.

Vickie,,,,both Diane and I are heartbroken about the loss of Brian. As Barb and Jeff aptly reflected Brian was one of the most gracious, genuine, and giving human beings we all have ever known. He would go out of his way to help anyone at any time. Brian truly "paid it forward" !!! He left a legacy of goodwill and civility on this earth that we all enjoyed and we all were made better from him. We will miss him terribly. Greg and Diane Ludwig
