Dr. Spencer was our family doctor for many years. Best Dr. Anyone could ask for. He delivered my oldest child. My mom and I just started talking about him, so I looked him up to sadly see he is with us no longer. He will be greatly missed. Thank you for all the wonderful years.

Doctor Spencer, I knew you since I came out of my Mother's tummy. You were not just our family doctor, you were family. I will miss that big smile of yours that lit up the room.

My friend, you went too soon. What a great person we have lost. Brian had such compassion for his patients and his diagnostic skills helped so many. Still so hard to believe. We shall all miss him. Happy sailing my friend.

Wow I'm shocked and so saddened to hear of this news. He was too young.
I became a patient of Dr. Brian's when his office was on Burnside Road.
He was so gentle, caring and funny. He continued to be my doctor until he retired from the Shelbourne Clinic. I remember him being so excited for this new clinic, giving up his maternity practice because of the crazy hours, looking forward to 'regular hours' and having coverage so he could spend more time with family and doing the things he loved to do.
He was such a comfort to me when my life got difficult. He was so patient, listened without judgement and spent way more time with me than scheduled. He was a good man and a good doctor.
When I thought about him I always hoped he was enjoying his well deserved retirement.
My children and I send our heartfelt condolences to his family.
RIP Dr. Brian

Way to young to go. Dr. Spencer was our family doctor since his practise on Burnside Rd. Easy to talk to and helped me through some tough times. Rest in Peace...

I only had him as a Dr. very briefly, but he was the first one (out of many), who finally set me on the right path of a (time sensitive) MS diagnosis. Without him, I might not have my eyesight. I'm forever grateful and am so, so sorry for your loss. Such a kind and brilliant soul.

I cannot believe this. Dr. Spencer guided me through cancer 23 years ago with kindness, patience and fondness. He was an excellent doctor and he will be missed. Rest in Peace Dr. Spencer. Arlene Chasteney

Holly smokes, this guy was so real. As a person and as a doctor. He actually stayed overnight in the hospital to deliver our son in 1985. Every visit I had with him the nurse would knock on the door to remind him that he had other patients waiting, he was just so into people. We were blessed to have him in our life and for those family members who are feeling a great loss please take some comfort if you can that this man did make a difference for a lot of people. God Bless Brian.
