Obituary for Brian ThomasSFC Brian Wayne Thomas, 31, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away January 18, 2016. He was born on February 23, 1984 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Gary Wayne Thomas and Cindy Lou (Hembree) Hancock. Brian graduated from Terre Haute South Vigo High School in 2003. He attended Purdue University for 3 years. Brian currently served in the United States Army National Guard. He had served for 13 years and was a Sergeant First Class. He was deployed to Iraq in 2008. Brian married Jamie Christopher on March 28, 2009 and together have a son, Jace Thomas, who was born October 6, 2011. Brian was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan, and he also enjoyed attending Indiana State University Men's Basketball games. He was a member of Riley Legion and VFW #972. Brian is survived by his wife Jamie (Christopher) Thomas; son Jace Thomas; father Gary Thomas, his wife Debbie of Speedway, Indiana; mother Cindy Hancock, her husband Donald; sisters Hollie Horner, her husband Ben, and Lavonna Thom
