I also worked with Brian at the Anoka office. Brian was a great, loving, giving and funny boy! We at the office of Tony Elfelt & Assoc had a wonderful time with Brian who always spoke so highly of his girls! He always had something to brag about when it came to his girls! I went with Bri when he picked up his brand new Rav 4 for the first time and he actually let me drive it out of the parking lot to his home to pick up some legal papers. Brian and I shared alot and I was also able to help him along with Kelly (his assistant) with court and trial preps. I am so deeply saddened to hear of his passing and will surely miss his great laugh and that Kris Kirstopherson look and smile. May our Lord grant you peace and Love dear Brian. TO Brian's family and friends, I am very sorry for such a great loss. RIP Brian-until we see one another again.
Love you Bri!

I only recently heard the sad news of Brian's passing. I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Brian when he worked in Anoka. He was kind, caring, and had a great sense of humor. He was a joy to be around. He always spoke of his girls and it was obvious how much he loved them. I am so very sorry for your loss. He will certainly be missed.

To The Thompson Family,

I am very saddened by the news of Brian's passing, which I just discovered today. I met Brian in the late 90's when he shared office space with an attorney in Anoka and I eventually became Brian's secretary and worked with him from '00-'03. I have many fond memories of working with Brian. He was eccentric to say the least. He had a fantastic sense of humor, which for some reason I understood and matched. He had a passion for life and he loved, loved, loved his girls! His girls were his life, and he talked about them every chance he got. Ladies, please know your father loves you.

To Myrna, I'm sorry I never had the chance to meet you. I'm very sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you.

I am just finding out about Brian's passing. My heart goes out to his family. I was privileged to worship & play piano at New Testament Church where Brian pastored back in the 80's. He was a great pastor, praise leader, and friend. He will have great joy in his new home praising with the angels.

Dear Myrna,
I found out just last week of Brian's passing. I just wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts. I was his paralegal at MacDonald Law Firm for about a year. He always told me the most fun and loving stories about you. He was full of life and spunk! There was never a dulll moment working with Brian!

To his three lovely daughters...
He loved you so much. My heart is just breaking for you. He always told stories of his girls and his eyes would twinkle just like you were brand new! I'm so heartbroken for your loss.

All my love and support goes out to all who have lost.

I learned about Brian's passing to glory too late to attend his funeral. Bruce and I will miss him. I remember the first time I talked to him at Jesus People church while Bruce was setting up sound equipment for the service. His sweet spirt and total commitment to his savior left a lasting impression on my soul. Nancy and Bruce McVey

My dear sister Myrna:
I still couldn't believe and still refusing to accept that Brian is gone. There's no amount of words to comfort you at this moment but I know that in God's time, He will heal our broken hearts and will reveal his reasons why He took away Brian from our family. I have wept from the time I found out about his health condition and have asked God unceasingly for his healing. We love Brian very much, we'll never forget how good of an uncle he was for our kids. We didn't want him to go but we can't question God's will. Brian is now flying free---one day we'll see him again.

My heart goes out to Myrna and Brian's daughters. He loved his girls very much and it was so obvious over all the years I have known him. My very first conversation with him in 1983 (NCBC) was about his beautiful little girl. Brian you will be missed.

Sorry for your Loss
Brian was an individual that wanted to know why it did not work and than how to fix it to make it work. It was a great pleasure to be part of his life. I did all his computer work the last few years.

Myrna My thoughts and prayers are with you. If you need anything please let me know. When I came back into Brian's life he talked of you often and his admiration and love for you. You brighten his life. Brian was amazing in how intelligent he was and then what he did with his life. I so enjoyed coming back into his life and having those wild conversations. I loved listening to the details and the things that he knew. I had my car stolen and that is how we came together again. Brian was tenacious as an attorney with a huge heart. It meant the world to me that he stood behind me and even did that WCCO piece. It was at that taping that I met you for the first time and began to understand what Brian had been sharing, you were a gift to him.

Blythe, Paige and Lane I am sorry for your loss. I lost my father a few years back and it still is hard at times. Know that you are loved by many and in our prayers. He dropped a many call, meeting to be there for you all when you called on the phone. He'd say hold on it is my daughter. I could tell he loved you all very much.

Along with other who have written here, I too worked with Brian at J.P. (Jesus People Church) many years ago, and later attended his church on Summit Avenue. Brian and I talked occasionally over the last years, and it was always uplifting to talk to him. I think of him, and think of his sense of humor. It was always so great. I remember back at J.P. he would say because he had started out as a janitor, and then eventually became a pastor, he "went from bowls (toilet) to souls" - now isn't that typical Brian? He will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Brian was one of a kind! His brilliant mind, and funny contagious personality always kept me on my toes around him. I remember him correcting me when I was doing a devotional many years ago at J.P. because he was concerned about how I used a particular word. I am quite sure he will be chatting with the prophets and getting answers to all his theological questions. He was dear to me and I will surely miss him as will so many others. God bless each one of you and may He comfort and encourage you with His great love in the days ahead!

To Brian's family, I am very sorry for your loss. I am an attorney and was on the opposite side of a number of Brian's cases and I always found him to be of good humor, warm and with a great spirit. Over the years,I made a point of saying hello and talking to him whenever I saw him in work comp court. It was always fun to share a chat with him. I will miss him.

Shocked to hear of Brian's passing. I remember Brian as a guy with a great sense of humor ("Reverend Turkey Lips") who trained me in as a janitor many years ago at Jesus People Church, and became an associate pastor there, and in later years, a lawyer.
Brian will be missed by all who have known him.
Sincerest condolences to family.
