I had the pleasure of having Brianna as a student at Agrace during her time in nursing school. She was a wonderful presence, kind, compassionate and welcoming to all. So much so that she also welcomed my daughter as a room mate during her senior year at Edgewood. They had many good talks and laughs together.
May you find peace in this Nightingale Memorial Poem for Nurses:
When a calming, quiet presence was all that was needed, She was there.
In the excitement and miracle of birth or in the mystery and loss of life, She was there.
When a silent glance could uplift a patient, family member or friend,She was there.
At those times when the unexplainable needed to be explained, She was there.
When the situation demanded a swift foot and sharp mind, She was there.
When a gentle touch, a firm push, or an encouraging word was needed, She was there.
In choosing the best one from a family's Thank You box of chocolates, She was there.
To witness humanity its beauty, in good times and bad, without judgment, She was there.
To embrace the woes of the world, willingly, and offer hope, She was
there.
And now, that it is time to be at the Greater One's side, She is there!
Brianna will be dearly missed. Sending you peace and healing. Pamela Crary and Tarah (Crary)Rahberger

Heaven has another amazing angel! Brianna was kind to everyone! An infectious laugh that brought brightness to our whole unit! A dedicated nurse who gave everything she had to her patients and her families every day! She is and will be dearly missed! There is a stillness and a hole in our unit now grieving for one of our very own. A friend and a beloved co-worker who truly left the world too soon. But God only takes the best and she was that the best! There is no doubt in my mind that this beautiful lady is caring for God's angels in heaven! She is running in the hills of heaven with all of the dogs that have gone before her! And God is smiling and full of joy because he knows what a special soul Brianna is! Our hearts are heavy, are tears are many and this special lady will live in our hearts! My last memory of Brianna was of her laughing in the report room, I was charting at the nurses' station and I stopped and smiled knowing how fortunate I was to work with her and to know her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family now and for everyone who knew her. May God be with them and us to help us with our sadness of our grief for missing this beautiful lady! We love you Brianna! We miss your beautiful heart!

I want to express my deepest sympathy to Brianna's family. I had the pleasure of having Brianna in a nursing course at Edgewood. I remember her wonderful sense of humor and deep passion for caring for others. Every time she walked in the room, it was made brighter because of her presence. She will be deeply missed by all.
God bless,
Katie Selle

Our paths conjoined for just a bit, only a few miles along our journeys. We strode side by side within each other's footfalls, taking in what came. The travel with you seemed lighter. Time spent was filled with brightness and beauty. The trail below seemed smoother, less steep, while we walked together. All too soon, our paths diverged. Yours took you away. I look back as I wander on, struck by the wonder of the gift of your companionship. I shall always miss our time together, saddened that it can't repeat. But I will forever look back with teary eyes and smile, because I had the chance to walk a short while with you.

My heart and thoughts are with all of you during this very difficult time. It's still very hard knowing she is no longer with us but I will always hold on to the happy memories of her, as I know you will, too. It brings me joy being able to have known her through dance and seeing how beautiful she was when she performed. Everyone was very lucky to have her be a part of the SABA family. I'm so appreciative of being able to have spent time with your family over the weekend to remember Bri. Thank you for bringing such a bright light into everyone's lives as she touched so many. She lit up the world with her smile, contagious laugh, witty humor, and beautiful spirit. If there is anything my family and I can do to help, please let me know. Thinking of you all every day. ~Love, Carrie

This really is a big shock. I have known Brianna for few years now as she rented from me at Commonwealth Avenue in Madison. Brianna was attending Edgewood nursing. We spoke about her nursing career, her hip issues and lot more. We were good friends. Brianna is indeed a leader, she is brave, cheerful and energetic. A bubbly personality. Brianna was a great mediator when we had issues with tenants in the building. She resolved many problems herself without our intervention. We discussed her nursing career extensively. She is a rare & very response girl during parties etc. To her family: I am so very sorry for your loss. God gave you strength but please remember what a wonderful person she was.

Brianna was a transporter in Medical Imaging while she was in Nursing School. She was an awesome, hard worker. Her patients loved her as well as the staff she assisted. I have had the opportunity to work with Bri in her nursing role many times. She was a compassionate champion for her patients and I am proud of her accomplishments. She will be missed. God Bless.

I am so deeply sorry to hear about Brianna. Although I do understand the pain you are going through in the loss of a child, no matter what age, there are no words to take away the pain you are experiencing. A parent should never have to go through this. I hope you are able to find some comfort knowing that others are hurting along with you and are praying for you. I send love and hugs to all the family and friends of Brianna.

I met Brianna on 5sw at St Mary's. The first time I met her--I knew she was special. That girl snuck into my heart. I think we had a special bond--deep in our souls. I still think the sun rises and sets on her---I will never know a nurse/ person as sweet as Brianna. We gave hugs to each other---like no other...they were just so special. We would cry together in the med room--when she was taking care of the sickest patients. I'm sooo sorry I didn't know how much Brianna was suffering. I am praying for you, her families...as you go through this time. Please know, that we love you so very much--and although i may not know you...I'm sending all of you the special hugs Brianna and I would share. You are not alone. You are loved. Love you forever and alway Brianna.
