Brianne Pratt Obituary
She was born October 29, 1993 in Fort Hood, Texas to Jeffrey Pratt and Anna (Phlaghter) Bush.
Brianne attended J. L. Williams/Lovett Ledger Elementary School in Copperas Cove. She also attended Salado Junior High School and graduated from Salado High School in 2012. After graduation she attended Central Texas College. Brianne was a student and worked in the food service industry.
Survivors include her father, Jeff Pratt and his wife Nancy of Salado; her mother Anna Bush of Cherokee, Iowa; one brother, Daniel Pappan, his wife Stephanie and their son Alex of Round Rock; sister Jessica Brown, her husband Derek and their daughter Haley of Jarrell; and sisters Kristin and Angie Ruden of Le Mars, Iowa,.
Brianne enjoyed playing softball, cheerleading, caring for plants, pets and children. She volunteered at local nursing homes and was seeking a career in nursing or counseling while still undecided she knew she wanted to help people in need. Brianne was always talking to people and loved keeping up with everyone she knew. Brianne was always available to give anyone a ride and always volunteered to be the designated driver for both friends and family. She was always willing to give up her time to help her friends.
A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, December 5 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Temple. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 6.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Mothers Against Drunk Driving, 2201 W.S. Young Drive #106-C, #102, Killeen, TX 76543.

We had alot of great talks about her family and how she was excited to go down to Texas and see her dad and friends . One of the best summers of my life was spent with Brianne and her cousin Logan! We spent the summer swimming, biking, baking And just having fun with her Aunt Sally...Brianne was so happy at Pet-a-llama Ranch with all the animals in Petaluma California! Jeff, Nancy, and the Entire Pratt Family...This is an awful, tragic loss not only for you but for your community at large. These days, there are not enough wonderful, caring, helpful people to go around. Now there is one less. Anna, Steve and family, We can not express enough how sorry we are for your tremendous loss. We are so glad we got to know Brianne better while she was here for the summer and I'm sure you will cherish those memories also. There was a reason she was here for the summer. I knew her pretty much her whole life and she was a great person inside and out.You never knew what she was going to say next. She was beautiful, bright,and just fun. I remember the last time I saw her was right after graduation at disneyworld, we both happen to be there at the same time. We rode the rockin rollin aerosmith roller coaster together. And while we were standing in that line she just kept saying stuff and telling me stories and thats when I realized first that she was all grown up now, and second she had her moms mouth and attitude. Our hearts broke when we saw the news about Brianne. She was by far one of my favorite smiling, beautiful patients! Brianne was a wonderful young lady. I remember when she worked at Sonic and Bush's she would always joke with me when I stopped by for a drink or something. Not only was she a friend to my son Shannon, but she was a great friend to Katie. I am forever in her debt for being such a wonderful friend and always being there for Katie. I cannot even possibly imagine what you are going through right now. Honestly, there are no words to even begin to express how sorry we are for your loss of Brianne. It has weighed so heavily on our hearts since we found out. You and your family have been in our thoughts and prayers continuously. My heart breaks for you. I think back to first meeting her all those years ago and how she loved jumping from bed to bed (practically bouncing off the walls) or the camping trip we all took that Mother's Day weekend so long ago and how her and Lauren tried to sleep in that little tent all by themselves (which didn't last all night) or how they had to go swimming in that freezing cold water with Molly.
