Brigitte Chiat Obituary
Brigitte was known for her smart, witty personality and her kind, giving nature. She was a talented knitter and crocheter, who also cherished classical music and devoted time to gardening, embracing the beauty of nature.
She is survived by her grandsons, Gregory, Erik, and RJ Stanton of Islip, NY; granddaughter, Lauren Gladd; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Oliver Gladd, Nathan and Anna Stanton; and niece, Uta Aschermann and her son, Alexander from Munich, Germany. Also mourning her loss are Uta's niece, Almut, and cousin, both from Germany. Brigitte was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Allen Chiat, and son, Robert Stanton.
The Getze Funeral Home in NM is assisting the family with arrangements. Brigitte's life and legacy will be remembered fondly by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
