And today is the day it's been one year since heaven gained one of the most beautiful smart funny and all out just amazing angels ever..hope your resting easy up there baby girl..everyone has a guardian angel..I'm lucky enough to have a whole team of them

Today is December 6th, 2015. One year ago, my little girl fell and was injured. In a few days, December 14th, it will be 1 year since she passed away. One year that seems like an eternity. She would be 23 years old now, her whole life in front of her. All the adventures, friends and family just waiting for her.

I think the hardest days have been birthdays. Her brothers, mine, but mostly Brittany's. And holidays, like Thanksgiving and Christmas. And now The anniversary of her passing. This is going to hurt, it'll leave a deep mark for a long time. Such is the love of a parent for their children.

With a daughter like Brittany, the Suns warmth does not compare to her smile, the stars never shined as brightly as her eyes, the winds never blew as gently as the breeze in her wake and life NEVER tasted sweeter as when I was with her and her brothers. Britt, you made everything better with a smile or when you held my hand.

Beautiful daughter, loving sister, true friend and my very much missed Angel in heaven. Your life was a gift to me and your passing gave the gift of life to 4 special people. I am so very blessed and proud of you sweetie. I know my memories of you will comfort me. I know what gets me through the darkness, is love.

Watch out for us my Angel. Help keep us safe. Bless us as we pray for your peace and love with our God. I will see you again, I love you always Brittany Cathrine Cavallari.

I only knew Brittany for a short period of time when we worked together at Woodfield, but I always thought she was such a great girl. Keeping her family in my prayers through this awful time.
