Brittany Elder Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 12, 2025.
Redding - Brittany Pauline Elder, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend, passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 38. Born on June 4, 1986, in Redding, California, Brittany brought light and joy to everyone she met.

Brittany was an Enterprise High School Alumni, class of 2004. A proud U.S. Army veteran, she served her country with honor and integrity. She carried that same strength and determination into every aspect of her life.

She shared a beautiful life in Redding with the love of her life, Michael Bunker. She is survived by her son, Brittan John Bunker, and shared a family with her stepdaughter, Laura Rose Bunker. Brittany was deeply devoted to her family, always placing them at the center of her world. She is survived by her parents, Tim (since passed 3/22/25) and Lisa Elder, her sister, Jodi, and many nieces, cousins, and friends who will forever hold her memory close.

Brittany's radiant smile and infectious laughter had a way of brightening any room. Her passion for singing was a reflection of her soul-vibrant, heartfelt, and full of life. Whether on stage or simply among loved ones, her voice was a gift that brought comfort and joy to those around her.

Her absence leaves an immeasurable void, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Brittany's legacy is one of love, caring, and unwavering kindness.

A celebration of Brittany's life will be held June 22nd, 2:00pm at Riverview Golf & Country Club to honor the remarkable person she was and the love she shared with so many. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a veterans' support organization in her memory.

She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
