Brittney Carroll Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 26, 2025.
**Brittney Amber "Britt" Carroll**, 42, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on August 22, 2025. Born on March 24, 1983, in Maquoketa, Iowa, Brittney lived a life marked by resilience, love, and an unwavering devotion to her family.

Brittney was the beloved daughter of Kristina Cameron and David Carroll. She is also lovingly remembered by her son Christopher Carroll; her siblings Leilani Chostner, Cody Carroll, Stefani Sartell, and Nicole Dittmar; and several cherished nieces. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents James and Patricia Carroll; maternal grandparents Tom and Elvera Rheuport; and her sister Julia Evans.

A member of Mt. View Lutheran Church, Brittney held a deep faith throughout her life. Though she wasn't always able to attend services regularly, God remained a constant presence in her heart. Her spiritual strength carried her through many trials and triumphs.

Brittney's life was a testament to perseverance. At the age of 17, she survived a devastating car accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury. After months on life support and an arduous recovery process, she defied the odds and reclaimed her life with courage and determination. Years later, she endured another serious accident when she was struck by a driver-but once again, she survived with grace and strength. These experiences only deepened her appreciation for life and the people around her.

Known for her warm spirit and forgiving nature, Brittney never held grudges and welcomed everyone with open arms. She found joy in simple pleasures-scratching off lottery tickets, shopping for treasures big or small, and especially going out to lunch with her mom. Family gatherings and holidays were among her favorite times; she delighted in being surrounded by loved ones during these special moments.

Her love for others radiated through every interaction. Brittney had a gift for making people feel seen and valued. Whether spending time with family or catching up with friends, she brought light into every room she entered.

Though Brittney faced more than her share of hardships during her time on earth, she met each challenge with grace. Now called home to be with the Lord, she is free from pain and made whole again.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

May Brittney's legacy of love and resilience continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her. A Memorial Service will be held on October 18, 2025, from 02:00 PM to 02:30 PM at Mt. View Lutheran Church 2122 S .Goldfield Rd.
