Bruce BLIGHT Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Oct. 1 to Oct. 2, 2012.

BLIGHT (Bruce):
17.06.1939 - 28.09.2012 Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
Devoted Husband to Sue. Loving Father and Father-in-law to Alison and Rodney, Julie and Peter, Michelle and Bevan and Giles. The world's best Pop to Bec, Ryan, Jessie- Lee, Ashley, Aliesha, Dylan, Jayden, Mikayla, Skye, Kieran, Khallon and Brodie. Great Grandfather to Brock, Samson, Riley and Levi.
Now in heaven with Fletch and Flo. But buried deep within our hearts.

BLIGHT (Bruce Mark):
17.06.1939 - 28.09.2012 Fondest memories of ‘Blitz' my beloved husband, friend and mate, taken so suddenly from us after a short illness. We had 53 years together; times of happiness, joy and sadness. We were so blessed with this time. We raised four beautiful children, acquired along the way three wonderful sons-in-law and a daughter-in-law. Not to mention twelve Grand- children and four great grandies. Life has been kind to us and, for that, we give thanks to the Lord and look forward to when we can be together again. Sue.
BLIGHT (Bruce Mark):
Dad, Our hero.
Our golden circle has been broken, it breaks our hearts. Your strength, fairness, honesty, sense of humour and unconditional love will be greatly missed and is irreplaceable. Thanks for helping to instil great beliefs and values in our children. You don't have to worry about Mum, we'll all take care of her. Happy fishing darling. Love you forever. Alison and Rodney.
BLIGHT (Bruce Mark):
Dearest Pop,
No words can describe the love I have for you. I am so proud to call myself your Granddaughter. Thank you for all the special times I got to share with you (including those very entertaining King Rat stories). I will cherish these moments for the rest of my life. You truly are one in a million, Pop, and I will miss you greatly. Have fun with Fletch 1 and 2 and Flo. Until we meet again. I love you. Love Liesh x
BLIGHT (Bruce Mark):
To a great man who always put others before himself. Just know, Pop, you will be sorely missed and I will never forget the times we had. The memories you have left me with are ones that I will cherish in my heart forever.
Love you always, Pop. Jayden.
BLIGHT (Bruce Mark):
Poppy, You have always been such a big part of my life, no matter what problem anyone had, you would always drop everything for them. You are one in a million, Poppy. I will cherish all of the good times we shared and the memories we made for years to come, especially all of those King Rat stories you loved to tell. Have fun with Fletch 1 and 2 and Florence. (I'm sure Flo is already bossing you around like she used to). Until we meet again, Poppy. I love you. Love Mikayla xoxoxo
BLIGHT (Bruce Mark):
Pop, What fond memories you have left me with. Pop, you have made me the person I am today. You have shown and taught me amazing things which I will never forget. Take care, Mate. Love you. Kieran.

BLIGHT (Bruce Mark):
Dear Pop,
It seems unbelievable that you have gone. You were the man who put others before you. I will never forget the things you have taught me. You were one in a million, Pop. The memories we have had, I will cherish in my heart.
Love you, Pop. Khallon.
BLIGHT (Bruce Mark):
To my beautiful Pa,
You are my hero, Pa. It broke my heart to lose you, but Pa, you didn't go alone because a part of me went with you. When the angels took you home, I just wasn't ready for this. No one was. I'm going to miss you very, very much. Remember a pinky is a pinky because I always will. Love and hugs.
Julie xx
BLIGHT (Bruce Mark):
God saw that he was getting tired, a cure was not meant to be. So He put His arms around him and whispered, "Come with me". With tearful eyes, we watched him leave this world for the next. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove He only takes "the best". Keep the lines wet, my friend.
Love your china plate Pete xx
BLIGHT (Bruce Mark):
So heaven has received another angel and the night sky another star. Your life has become a loving memory, but I know you will never be far. You were really one in a million, Poppy, a cut above the rest. All who knew you would agree, you simply were the best. So my Poppy, I say goodbye. We love you all the way to the moon and back and will miss you so, so, so much more.
Bec, Ivan and "Poppy's Boy" Brock
BLIGHT (Bruce Mark):
Words can't come close to express how grateful I am to have a Pop like you, let alone one of the best mates anyone could ask for. Thank you, Pop.
Love Ryan and Jess.
BLIGHT (Bruce Mark):
Pop
It is the least that I could do, to tell the world that you were here, cause the love and the laughter will live on long after all of the sadness and tears.
We'll meet again, Pop, my old friend. Love Ash xx

BLIGHT Bruce (Bronzie):
17.06.1939 - 28.09.2012 You always said to keep it simple cob
My Hero
My Dad
My Mentor
My Mate
Always there when push came to shove... I'm forever lost without you...
Twigg xxx
BLIGHT (Bruce Mark):
Pop, I will miss our yarns and wanders around the garden with a beer in tow. Always a pleasure being in your company. You made me feel blessed to have a Father-in-law and the mate everyone wishes to have just by being yourself. Cheers. Goodbye for now, me ol' mate. Bev x

BLIGHT (Bruce Mark):
There just wasn't enough time, Poppy. You had so much left to teach us all, especially your three littlest bears. I will treasure all the wise words, the laughter and the love I always knew was there. You're in good company now and we will meet again, I'm sure of it.
All my love, Jess xxx
BLIGHT (Bruce Mark):
Gone too soon, Pop. Hope you're sitting up there with a line in. We will all miss you so much. This place will never be the same without you in it.
Rest in Peace, Mate. Love you Forever. Doob xx
BLIGHT (Bruce Mark):
Ol' Boy, Thanks for being a real mate. Gonna miss you heaps. Thank you for all the things you have taught me. See ya on the beach, you old bugga.
Love ya heaps. Booza xx
BLIGHT (Bruce Mark):
Pop, Words can't describe how much I miss you. You were and still are one of the strongest and most caring people I have ever known. You taught me so many good things in life that I'll never forget. I cherished every moment I spent with you throughout the years. You really do know how to make someone feel special.
I love you so much Pop. Skye.
BLIGHT (Bruce Mark):
Pop, I had so many good times with you. I replay them in my head every day. You're a very loved man. I miss you and love you will all my heart. Brodie.

Deepest sympathy to Sue and family. Our thanks to you old mate for the pleasure of your company. You were a true gentleman, respected by all fortunate to make your acquaintance. Pleased you enjoyed recent times doing what you dearly loved, introducing people to the pleasure of fishing. We will always have a site in the Park for you. Bruce and Louise - Bremer.
