Bruce "Terry" Braun

Terry Braun, aged 82, of Hinsdale NH, passed away on May 7, 2024, in Brattleboro, Vermont. Terry was a proud man who loved his family dearly. He was born on August 14, 1941, in Wilmington Vt, to Alwin and Agnes Braun.Terry enjoyed spending time in his basement woodworking shop and was a hard worker who prioritized his family's well-being. He could do most anything. He started work with his father out of school. He wanted to serve his country with his brothers, but due to having polio, he could not. He worked the lifts at Mt. Snow , was a cook at Villanova University and a stint with the state of Vermont when they were putting in Interstate 91. Most of his years were in the paper mill. It started as Boise Cascade and was Neenah when he retired at 76 yrs old.
He married PJ Barnett Braun on New Years Eve 1981 and celebrated 41 years of marriage.

Terry is survived by his wife PJ, his children Tiazhah Morse, Deerfield, NH, Brandy Braun-Hill (Harry)Londonderry Vt, Matthew Braun (Cheryl)Hinsdale NH, Patrick Lackey Jr (Kelly) West Brattleboro, Vt, David Lackey (Tricia) Putney Vt, Anthony Braun, and Nicole Braun, both of Hinsdale,NH. He is also survived by his brother John Braun(Brenda) of Trumbull Ct, sisters Nan Twachtman of Maine and Caroline Leon (Andy)of Canton Ohio. His in-law family, mother in law-Vivian Dubiel, Becky Garland(Dickie)Guilford Vt, Nancy Giroux( Victor)Guildford Vt, Bill Dubiel Hinsdale NH, Bob Jutras(Sandra) Newfane Vt, Sharon (Steve)Ingraham, Vernon,Vt, Karen Olsen(Jim) Oxford,Ct Butch Barnett(Sandy) Beacon Falls, Ct
Terry is preceded in death by his son Bruce Braun, grandson Zachary Hill, his brother Mickey Braun, and his parents Alwin and Agnes Braun. He is also preceded in death by his father-in-law Frank Dubiel and sister in law Valerie Dubiel and nephew Kenneth Giroux.

Terry will be deeply missed by his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
Services are May 19,2024 at 11 am.
