My condolences to Dr. Cameron's family during this difficult time. I was in a car accident in 1975 and he performed several surgeries to get me back on my feet. I remember not only his amazing skills as a doctor, but the smile he always wore. No mater how much pain I was in, his laugh could always bring a smile to my face.

In 1965, I was a senior in high school suffering from neck, shoulder and arm pain that seemed to be related to an auto accident I'd been in in 1963. My dad took me to Bruce Cameron who treated me with such respect, humor and kindness that I thought of him as a very special person indeed. In early 1966, he performed the surgery that would give me great relief and has lasted for now nearly 47 years. Dr. Cameron treated me and cheered me in a time when I was in pain. He is one of the great physicians of his time.

I'm so sorry to hear of Dr. Cameron's passing. I started going to Dr. Cameron soon after I was born in 1970 being treated for a club foot. He was my favorite doctor simply because of his bedside manner and personality. He was a jovial character, always with a smile and what a laugh he had! I always looked forward to the appointments because he'd make me laugh. Every appointment he would ask me to walk down the office hallway wanting to see how I walked on my left foot. He'd always encouraged me to "walk with my heal down". I am blessed to have had the best orthopedic doctor in Houston to correct my foot. God bless the Cameron family. He will be greatly missed!

What to say at a time like this Bruce Jr. Doug, Craig & Frances, is difficult as no words seem to take away the hurt. All the Goodwin's have fond memories of your entire family even the polk-a-dot dogs you had. You boys, your paper route & what we did with the leftover papers. Bruce Sr, the buggle at my dad's bird dogs at 6 AM. Bruce Jr you & I running track at Lamar then your Dad timing us running around Fieldwood & Cedar Creek streets while jumping sidewalks & driveways in our track shoes. That night there was noway to talk him out of our running. Your Mom's younger brother & his motorcycle& Corvette. Thanks for helping me Bruce Jr when I ran away from home, another story. Doug's homecoming party. craig the constant Cowboy, at 10 yrs old I would have never guessed. Thank you all for your support when our father died.We are sorry for your loss. His memory will always be with each of you, God Bless you all. Roy T. Goodwin III Bandera Texas

Dr. Cameron was wonderful and I have such fun memories of him. I ran away in high school and Frances Jr. picked
me up. My mother called her mom Frances Sr. I just remembered that! Little did I know that he called my
Mother to tell her he would take care of me. The morning bugle calls. The breakfast hangover concoctions. The laughter. His wonderful wife and boys. Frances my dear friend. Hearing of his passing hurt my heart. I know he is in a better place. Love to the family.

So sorry to hear of Dr. Cameron's passing, but he lived a long, full life. One of my fondest memories of him is a presentation he made 20+ years ago to the Breakfast Club at ROCC on The Battle of San Jacinto. Blew me away!
