Bruce Glover, a veteran actor of over 100 roles best known as Mr. Wint, one of James Bonds' adversaries in the film "Diamonds Are Forever," died March 12 at the age of 92.
Glover, who was also the father of "Back to the Future" actor Crispin Glover, began acting in the 1950s, over the years appearing in dozens of TV shows and movies. Highlights include big screen roles in "Chinatown," "Ghost World," and others. However, Glover was most frequently seen on television, especially popular shows of the 1960s, '70s and '80s. These include "Perry Mason," "Car 54, Where Are You?," "The Six Million Dollar Man," "Barney Miller," "Murder, She Wrote," "The A-Team" and many others. He was also a veteran of the stage, logging hundreds of performances and working with legends like Bette Davis (1908–1989) and Anne Bancroft (1931–2005).
Costume designer Jean-Pierre Dorléac, who worked with him on the original "Battlestar Galactica," called Glover a delight to work with. "He had a very professional outlook on why he was an actor that made him refreshing to work with. Very thorough and genuine," Dorléac said on the social media platform X.
