Our prayers are with Mr. Graham's family. Though I worked for a contractor I had the honor and privilage of working with Bruce on the most fasinating project of my career the proposed 1992 Chicago Worlds Fair. I will never forget the grand plans he had for the fair. Just to mention a couple a Venetian canal down 16th Street from the lake to the river. The completion of the Burnham lakefront plan. I only regret we did not have the opportunity to see it through.

I remember spending many lovely days in 1996 with Jane and Bruce on a cruise to the Baltic. I still smile when I recall Bruce's comments about the "hideous" proportions of the ten foot wide five story houses in Gdansk. I am fortunate to live in Chicago and I see the Willis (Sears) out of my condo. It always brings to mind memories of beautiful European strolls with Jane and Bruce and his fantastic critiques of the region's architecture. You were fortunate to have been a major part of his life. I am very sorry for your loss.

For Bruce and his
loved ones.
WEEP NOT FOR ME
Do not weep for me when I no longer dwell among the wonders of the earth; for my larger self is free, and my soul rejoices on the other side of pain...on the other side of darkness.
Do not weep for me, for I am a ray of sunshine that touches your skin, a tropical breeze upon your face, the hush of joy within your heart and the innocence of babes in mothers arms.
I am the hope in a darkened night. And, in your hour of need, I will be there to comfort you. I will share your tears, your joys, your fears, your disappointments and your triumphs.
Do not weep for me, for I am cradled
in the arms of God. I walk with the angels, and hear the music beyond the stars.
Do not weep for me, for I am within you;
I am peace, love, I am a soft wind that caresses the flowers. I am the calm that follows a raging storm. I am an autumns leaf that floats among the garden of God, and I am pure white snow that softly falls upon your hand.
Do not weep for me, for I shall never die, as long as you remember me...
with a smile and a sigh.

To the Family of Bruce Graham,
So sorry for the loss of such a talented person like Mr.Graham. What a great building such as the Sears Tower, it is a master piece.
Please find a bit of solace at Psalms 34:18-"God is near to those broken at heart..."
You can feel that Death can leave a heartache that nothing can heal, just know that Love can leave a memory that no one can steal.

I come from a Sears family. My dad worked in the Sears Tower, and he signed one of the I-beams during construction. I worked in the tower. It was a special building to us both, and to me it will always be the SEARS Tower. Thank you, Mr. Graham, for your vision. To the family, my sympathy and the hope that time and your memories will bring you comfort.

As an architect, Mr. Graham would appreciate a time when people would build houses and enjoy them for eternity because unlike today they would live longer than the oldest tree from which many are built. (Isaiah 65:21-24) From a family of buiders, I look for to this time. May you be comforted by this thought and the wonderful memories you have. My family and I are truly sorry for your loss.
