Bruce Johnson

Bruce was a gentle giant. A driving force in our Senior Golf League. As a matter of fact Bruce got me introduced to the League. With a booming voice you can hear hin clear across the golf coarse. You are dearly missed.

I'm not sure if you remember me, but I was married to your uncle Paul. I always liked your dad, as he had such a kind heart. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Four years ago we moved next door to Bruce. Bruce came over to introduce himself to us and immediately Bob knew him from Indian Springs. He was a great golfer. We will miss our wonderful conversations and our laughs. The best neighbor and friend ever. Miss you Bruce. May you rest in peace. Our condolences to his family

Remembering all the wonderful and special times we cousins had growing up ..dinners and TV baseball at Irene and Elmers, Christmas Eve at Marge and Alvars, picnics at Arnie and Lenores and many get togethers at Frederick St among them.
The first thing that came to mind though, when I heard of Bruce's passing, was he is again with his beloved wife Kathy.

I remember Bruce with a smile in my heart. My husband also played golf in the senior league at Indian Springs, and came home with many stories. When he had to have back surgery and couldn´t walk he was in Gaylord Rehab for 3 weeks. Bruce and Marty came to visit him a few times while he was there and really brightened his day! My husband and I really liked Bruce, especially his sense of humor! We have missed him since he stopped golfing, now we will miss him more! It´s time to remember him and know he is spending this time with his family and friends in Heaven, probably on the fairways! Until we meet again.....

My sincere condolences to Bruce"s family. I met Bruce through the Indian Springs Senior Golf League. It was my pleasure to know such a friendly and welcoming person like Bruce. I will miss seeing him in the clubhouse and at the picnic table at the end of hole #9. Rest in peace Bruce.
