Bruce Alan Melberg

Brockton - Bruce Alan Melberg passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 70 in Boston, MA. with his daughter Beckie and grandson Antonio by his side. Born on December 4, 1954, Bruce grew up in a close-knit family and continued to prioritize those bonds throughout his life.

Bruce dedicated several years to the Navy, serving his country with commitment before transitioning into a career in home siding in the Brockton area. His work, marked by precision and reliability, was well-respected until he became disabled and transitioned out of professional life.

Family was the cornerstone of Bruce's life. He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca, Kathleen, and Patrice; son, Sean; granddaughters, Ciara, Ahmya, and Layla; grandsons, Antonio, Aydein, and Stern; sister, Karen MacFaun; brothers, Arthur Jr. and James Melberg; sister-in-law, Cheryl; brothers-in-law, Steve MacFaun whom he thought of more like a brother and Mike Pauley; long-term partner, Carol Newton; and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur E. Melberg Sr. and Clara Lenora Melberg, brother Frank, and sister Christine Pauley.

Bruce found joy in simple pleasures like doing crossword puzzles and watching his favorite TV shows, including Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and various Westerns. His love for his grandchildren was evident, as he cherished every moment spent with them.

A celebration of Bruce's life will be held at a later date, allowing all who knew him to honor his memory and the impact he had on their lives. Bruce's presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
