Bruce Ridge Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Nov. 30 to Dec. 2, 2022.
On Wednesday, November 23rd, 2022, I lost my best friend and husband, Bruce A. Ridge. Bruce was born on January 12th, 1944 and married the love of his life Wendy J. Ridge on June 16th, 1967. He is survived by his wife Wendy, his two sons, Douglas(Tracy), and Jeffrey(Angela) Ridge. Four Grandchildren, Connor, Blake, Alex and Rylee Ridge. Bruce graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1962, and attended 2 years of college at Angola University, majoring in engineering, but changed to business after knowing that is what he wanted to do. After college he decided to join the army and in true Bruce fashion to never do anything small, he joined the 7th Special Forces Airborne Group, and felt proud to give his best. Always knowing he wanted his own business, he left Bendix & bought Hobby Land with his wife Wendy. They had thirty four successful years bringing much happiness to the young and old. At that point is when I realized what high morals Bruce went by regarding all aspects of business and life.

There will not be a funeral. I want all of us to know what the meaning is of sharing, therefore, I hope all of us will make a donation in Bruce's name to any charity of your choice. Until we meet again my friend.

Elkhart Cremation Service has been entrusted with his care.
