We´re so sorry for your loss. Though I never had the chance to meet Bruce, the way Kate speaks about him paints such a beautiful picture of a kind, adventurous, cherished soul. Someone who was deeply loved and whose presence will be profoundly missed.

The stories shared about him keeps his spirit alive, a testament to the love + joy he poured into the world. Our heart goes out to everyone mourning his passing. We hope you all have the time and space to grieve with ease, and as the days pass, the weight of his loss becomes lighter-but never forgotten.

Mr Rose taught me how to make hollandaise sauce and when to cover a dish when baking. He always welcomed me into his home with a smile and asked about the books I was reading or to chat about Shakespeare and Tom Stoppard. He will be missed so deeply, and it was an honor to have known him and be witness to his love of his family.

Having known Bruce was such a joy. Sharing a silly joke or diving deep into music, he ALWAYS made you feel like you were the only person in the world. He always welcomed me into his home and asked about life. His wisdom was freely shared and will be forever remembered. Miss you, Mr Rose

All I knew of you was good; the personality, the soul, and the memories.

And it's clear that you were always dearly beloved by those who know you.

May your legacy live on.

I´m so sorry for our family´s loss. While I didn´t have the chance to meet Bruce, It´s plain to see how much he was loved and what a special part of the family he was. My heart goes out to everyone mourning his passing, and I´m keeping you all in my thoughts during this difficult time.

"Those we love don´t go away,
They walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed, and always dear."

What a lovely tribute, and terrific photo. We have so many warm memories of good food and wine, your wedding and ours (with wine), New Year´s games (and wine), and sometimes just wine. Lots of laughs and deep conversations. And Bruce was always willing to help when we needed an assist. Goodby, dear friend.

"Let us now praise famous men, and our fathers that begat us.
"The Lord hath wrought great glory by them through his great power
from the beginning...Their bodies are buried in peace; but their name
liveth evermore." Apocrypha: Sirach Chapter 44

Beloved and honored by his family. Respected and revered by his colleagues. Admired by all of us who have known him.

God grant you eternal rest, Bruce.
